The Best of 2012

Well today is the first day of 2013 and with that I thought it an appropriate time to do a very brief review of my Best of 2012.For starters my wife took me to New York City for my birthday which was absolutely incredible.

My wife and I made it through our first year of married life, I’d say with flying colours. We did the cottage up right this year spending every available minute up there relaxing and enjoying the calm away from the city while Rox chased frogs at the edge of the lake. We also did a trip up to Ottawa to a close friends wedding and I took a lightning trip to the UK for a weekend for my cousin’s wedding.

In 2012 I did more cycling than I have ever done before with the highlights being this years Ride for Heart, doing my first 100km ride at the Tour De Greenbelt and of course my ride across Algonquin Park in the peak of its fall colours, and I can’t forget buying my new road bike which I’m really looking forward to riding more when the weather picks up again. It was a great year on the bike, I met a lot of great people and had a lot of great times and sore legs.

I instagramed like crazy and then deleted them all in a fit of fury at the thought that they might sell my images although it did turn out to be a nice fresh start.

All in all it was another great year. It had its ups, it had some downs but looking back I have no complaints.

As we start 2013 I have to say I’m really looking forward to it. I see big things for 2013, big things :).
Hope you all have a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2013.
