A Year of Simplifying

2011 has felt like it is going to be a year of simplifying, apparently Starbucks agrees with me. The brands logo has become so iconic that they no longer have a need for the text on it. The new cups feature a strong, simple, one colour version of the logo and in my opinion, that’s all it needs. It’s said that by removing the coffee text from the logo that they are opening up the potential to be know for more than just coffee… we’ll, we’ll see about that but… I wonder if they’ll tidy up the sleeves that cover most of the coffee cup too?
